The successful candidate must have the following (experience/skills/ qualifications/competencies):
Completed Matric / Grade 12.
Relevant Tertiary Qualification.
5 – 10 years’ experience at Area Sales Manager level within the FMCG industry.
Strong people management skills – ability to motivate team to be high performing
Excellent computer skills with Advanced MS Excel
Very analytical with strong negotiation skills.
Own vehicle with a valid driver’s license.
A clear understanding and working knowledge of the predetermined formal Accounts Channel, including Retail & Wholesale Channels, in which the following will have to be implemented and executed against a predetermined set of KPI’s:
Facilitate the planning, organizing and directing of the field sales function within the territory.
Achievement of sales forecasts and growth objectives by monitoring and analyses of sales performance within region and institutes action plans.
Develop & devise innovative sell out solutions across all customers within territory.
