Bellville, Western Cape – The Private Chef will be responsible for directing the operation and organization of all kitchen and food-related activities within the household. Primary duties and responsibilities (but not limited to) Plan and prepare daily, weekly and monthly meals and menus according to the needs and dietary restrictions of the family. Order all stock and cooking utensils in accordance to the planned meals while adhering to the budget. Keep all stock, kitchen equipment and cooking utensils clean and organized. Apply basic food safety practices and maintain high personal hygiene. Keep up to date with culinary trends and techniques in order to incorporate new ideas. Assist with the planning and executing of bi weekly meals for an office canteen. Provide clear reheating instructions as and when required.
